Second Avatar 2 Movie

Avatar 2 the awaited sequel is already in pre-production. At the same time that James Cameron's first masterpiece is still undoubtedly dominating the box office like nobody could have predicted, but that little fact has no effect at all on the production of Avatar 2.

There have been confirmed rumors that most members of the technical crew and part of the cast that have been hired for the first movie and are being made to sign 3 to 5 year deals. This turn of events is no doubt very unsurprising as the revenue generated by the franchise has an unlimited potential.

And if all the buzz on twitter during the holidays was anything to judge the first Avatar, everyone just fell in love with that movie. The second one if made with the same attention to detail and style should be able to surpass expectations with just a small effort given to the outdated script and ideology of the first one.

So what do you all think of an Avatar 2 Movie Sequel?

It's a no brainier now after the success of the first that Avatar 2 is going to be made no matter what, and probably even Avatar 3. Sam Worthington (Jack Sully) the main plot character, recently revealed and confirmed all the rumors that the cast of Avatar signed on for a potential trilogy:

Sam Worthington talks about Avatar 2

“You work 18-hour days. I was on it for 14 months. We’ll still be filming it up to the day it’s released — probably after the movie comes out, knowing Jim! That commitment is what makes him the man he is. It’s life or death. It’s war. That’s how he approaches movies… We’re signed for a trilogy. But I think I’ll be 94 by the time it finishes, to be honest. I know Jim’s got some ideas in his big head.”

Rumors are currently running wild about Avatar 2 and where the plot will take the trilogy in the second installment but one thing's for sure, the planet Polyphemus might just be the right place for a setting.

Avatar2 James Cameron

“We have some story ideas about how to branch out into other moons of Polyphemus and the Alpha Centauri A (ACA) solar system.”
Director James Cameron

A second possibility is that Avatar 2 could take place in space or even a totally new planet.

Na’vis, Pandora’s blue aliens, savages to say the leas and they just don’t want to let anyone have their resources, so they might just play a role as little as it may in the second movie. So let's cross our fingers for a better and improved second Avatar movie to be just as visually stunning and for the plot to be way more up to Oscar standard.
